Abandoned Houses
Old, abandoned buildings are often good subjects. Besides being architecturally interesting, their textures and the work of time yield some thought-provoking images of lives past. I'm always saddened by a once-beautiful and peopled place found empty and still. You also never know what might turn up inside one of these... And you must always remember that most old homes had wells that you do NOT want to fall into.
I have done some photo-editing on many of the shots because I think a touch of the surreal seems to give them new life and artistic interest.
